Saturday - Day 1

This evening depart the United States.


Sunday - Day 2

On arrival at the Glasgow Airport you will be met by Golf Links Ltd. personnel who will assist you with your luggage and transfer to your transportation.

Monday - Day 3

Play today at Western Gailes , rated by many visitors to Scotland as its' finest "unknown", and perhaps its' most enjoyable. The course relies on natural defenses created by the sand dunes and wind. A traditional links layout that plays in a loop with its toughest stretch along the banks of the dunes that generally plays into the prevailing wind.

Tuesday - Day 4

Play today at Prestwick , which occupies a unique niche in golfing history. It was here in 1860 that the very first British Open was played with just a handful of participants. This links can produce some awkward stances on undulating fairways. Typical of the original golfing terrain, Prestwick provides a taste of golf as it was played long ago.

Wednesday - Day 5

Play Glasgow Gailes , a regular qualifying site for the British Open when played in Ayrshire. The generous fairways are lined with heather and the small greens are tightly guarded. Glasgow Golf Club annually hosts the oldest amateur tournament in the world, The Tennant Cup, which was first presented in 1880. Thursday - Day 6

Play today at North Berwick . Like St.Andrews the links starts and finishes in the town. One of Scotland's earliest golf clubs and correspondingly a very traditional links layout. The West Course requires unusual shotmaking, along with blind shots and play over stone dykes. Features the par 3, 15th "Redan" which is probably the most frequently copied short hole in the world.

Friday - Day 7

Play Gullane #1 , a regular host to major championships and rated alongside Scotland's more famous championship courses. Gullane #1 is unusually hilly for an east of Scotland links. Once you reach the top of Gullane Hill, you have great views over the River Forth, the Bass Rock, and on a clear day - Fife. Please note a very limited supply of golf carts are available for hire. Saturday - Day 8

Depart the United Kingdom from the Glasgow Airport.

FAIRWAYS HOTEL
Enjoying an enviable position overlooking Prestwick Old Course and minutes from rail and air links, Fairways Hotel is the ideal base for golfing in Ayrshire. All rooms are decorated to a high standard, with colour television, radio alarm clock, hair dryer, central heating and double glazed windows. The rooms are bright, spotlessly maintained and are serviced on a daily basis. All bedrooms have en-suite or private bathrooms.
HARBOUR HOUSE HOTEL
The Harbour House Hotel is situated in the historic coastal town of North Berwick in the heart of East Lothian. This small privately owned hotel was a former 19th Century Coaching Inn. The accommodation comprises of 11 ensuite bedrooms all recently refurbished to a high standard and facilities include colour TV, telephone, internet connection, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. During your stay your host Sheila Wharton will look after comfort.
